Path of Exile Item Upgrading
The best method to improve your equipment in Path of Exile is through upgrading your items. This allows you to upgrade your gear without having rely on expensive drops or trades. This article will help you understand how to upgrade your gear.
item upgrading Casesgg to equipment grant a bonus on the item's stats. The bonus is according to the rarity and level of the upgrade component.

Components
Upgrade components can make your weapons and armour better. You can locate them by destroying enemies, buying them from karma vendors or finding them in item-spheres. You can also get them from equipment that contains the components or by using high-tier salvage kits such as Black Lion Salvage Kit and Ascended Salvage Tool. In contrast to other items upgrades aren't destroyed when they are removed from an item.
Upgrade components are primarily used to improve an item however, they can also be used for other reasons. They can be used to increase the level or experience gained from upgrading existing weapons or gear. They can also be forged to offer additional benefits. A crafted glyph can increase the chance of upgrading its target while a boost upgrade increases the attack or defense attributes of weapons.
You can connect an upgrade template to an item by selecting it from the edition GUI. This will show the upgrade components to which the item can be updated. Alternately, you can utilize the workbench to select an upgrade template. In either case the item will be upgraded after enough upgrade components are collected.
Each component has a different experience multiplier that affects how much more experience an item will gain when it is upgraded with the component. For instance, organic components have a more experience multipliers than mechanical ones. It is therefore best to upgrade with organic components until you have reached the experience multiplier for the next rank of weapon or gear, and then switch to mechanical upgrades.
Each item comes with a maximum upgrade number that can be received. The number of items that are upgradeable is determined by their upgradeable rank, and the type of upgrade they can get. The highest upgrade possible is a weapon with 10th level. The most commonly used upgrade is a gun of tier 6 and an armor upgrade of tier 5.
Sets
A set is a collection of items that have a bonus. Each item in the set can be upgraded at least once and the upgrade will increase the guaranteed bonuses. When you first upgrade a set piece or weapon will give it a +1 increase to its primary stat. Following upgrades, the primary stats will be enhanced even more (for instance, +1 for 12+/13+/14+) and every time an item is upgraded, one of its additional stats is increased randomly.
Upgrades can also increase a weapon's damage base. This can be crucial for certain types of builds. Weapons cannot be upgraded for greater maximum defence rolls than their base. It is possible to increase the value of specific sets and unique items by upgrading them, but they may not always be superior to a high-level Runeword.
If you're upgrading an item that comes with bonuses, the item can be rerolled a single time and the guarantee will reset back to zero. Rerolling is the same amount of power dice as bringing an item up, but the new item will have different extra bonuses. Upgrades can be made by visiting the NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko in Central Flarine. To upgrade an item, you'll require a power die of each kind (Dice 4 or 6 drop from monsters 21+ and Giants; Dice 7 drops from bosses) and the proper amount of Minerals and Erons. These are available at the crafting table or in the Ultra Collector and are available for purchase with Gold. The NPCs will also offer special rewards for each completed level of the upgrade process. This reward can be rerolled one time using the same materials as the original item.
Rerolling
If players have enough to reroll tokens, they are able to play rerolling any item they have acquired during the game. If an item is rerolled, it will be replaced by an equivalent level 1 version from another set. Reroll tokens can be purchased in the shop for a small amount of in-game currency. They are not refundable. The new item will have the same extra bonuses like the first, however the stats will be different.
Players can alter the identification of their equipment as well as rolling it again by interacting with an upgrader NPC. This will change the identity from an armor to a weapon or vice versa, while keeping its basic stats and the attributes it requires. The change will last for a long time and affect all characters who own the equipment.
The player can also upgrade their level of an item for any equipment equipped. This is done by interacting with an upgrader NPC and obtaining upgrade items. This will cost a certain amount of crests and Valorstones according to the upgrade track and the item type. In the case of weapons, each step up will add an additional 5% to its damage.
Upgrades can boost the effectiveness of an item, however they also decrease its quality. It is therefore important to strike a balance between the two. Some items are not worth upgrading, while others require upgrading to maximize their potential. For instance, a player might want to upgrade a piece of breakpoint armor that comes with an interesting modifier (% chance to block or FHR) to discover what it could be.
The primary reason people reroll in Genshin Impact, or in any gacha-based game is because they're trying to acquire a certain weapon or character that they can't otherwise obtain. These items can be costly and time-consuming to obtain, and the RNG doesn't always play nice. The only options left are to invest real money or grind a lot. Rerolling is a popular feature in Genshin Impact.
Leveling
When upgrading an item, you can pick to increase the level of the weapon or armor. This feature isn't available in the current version of the game. I think this feature was designed to add some value to expensive and rare items. However, since most items are replaced quite quickly and can only be upgraded by one level, you'll typically replace it before it becomes too old. It's not worth upgrading items using gem sockets, as the power of the gem will outweigh any increase in the ilvl.
When you click the upgrade option on an item, you will see a small window with the upgrade template for the item and the cost of crest and Valorstone to increase the level of the item. Armor and weapons have different costs, with the latter generally being more expensive. The upgrade template lists the stats to be added to an upgraded item, along with its current ilvl.
The cost of the Valorstone and crest is calculated using the current Ilvl of the item and the upgrade templates. The ilvl will also be reduced by the upgrade template's reduction percentage for lvl. For instance the weapon that has an 8% upgrade decrease will reduce its ilvl by 8 - 8%.
In addition to the base ilvl boost it will also get upgrades in other stats such as critical strike damage, damage from PvE and dodge, block and parry rating. These increases are also based off the upgrade template.
In the upgrade template you can determine the amount of damage or defense an item will suffer after being leveled up. This is displayed below the cost and upgrade percentages. All armor and weapons apart from practice equipment get these stats when they level up. The market will determine the value of these stats. A weapon or armor that has perfect rolls can command an incredibly higher price than an unupp'd version. The same applies to other pieces of armor, such as circlets and tiaras.
